I'm still blown away that NYC thought rural America relevant! And what a great spokesperson. Between you and Aaron Lehman from Iowa Farmers Union getting interviewed so much on national news, we might just get on the radar again. Thanks Art! Glad you've recovered well enough for such a trip, too.
We watched the show, Art. As always, you were a voice of reason with your wise midwest tone and style. We were very proud of you carrying the weight for "fly-over" country on that night. Loved the plug for local journalism and the comment from Liesman about needing a dose of news from Iowa on a daily basis. Well done, Art, well done.
I saw it. You did great. And probably no one but Chris caught your oopsie. Thanks for standing up for journalism. That was the nugget in your appearance.
Yes, there are a lot of the intellectual elite living in NYC. but there are way more average kind of people and even some who are mentally challenged, yet they survive. I don't know why that reassures me when I'm in a big city, but it's comforting to know I don't have to compete with the geniuses to navigate places like NYC.
Hey Art, Despite stage fright and confusing cents with percentages, your contribution to Ruhle's roundtable was critical. You represented the Iowa we love and Storm Lake as only you can - honestly and directly. The program was educational and revealing; revealing what we all know - we are wading in the deep stuff. Glad you had a pleasant reconnect with old friends in NYC and survived the hustle and bustle of the 24 hour City. Listen to the corn grow and keep the power on.

I bet TV rankings improved. I wager you will be asked back.
Such a fan! Made this midwestern proud.
Art, you did just great! Loved your thanks for the plug for journalism being the absolute last word‼️
Thank you for representing the Midwest in the World that doesn’t know it exists but thrives upon its production.
It was so refreshing to see and hear your (our) point of view smack dab in the middle of that set! You made all Iowans proud.

Your pithy remarks and looks are Twainian.

I thought you were great! You had them at “potash.”
Good for you. You make Iowans proud. It helps us to survive.
Jerry and Aubrey rock! I love your perspectives, Art! You’re making a difference!
Smarts are a relative thing. Many smart people don't even know how to change a flat tire.
