I'm glad to read what my rural neighbors are thinking. My question is if the current Republican government is not helping them or listening to them, why do they keep voting for them?

This is a fight city people can help with. Next time you hear someone take a swipe at rural folks, give 'em the stink eye. Both parties have gone well out of their way to hyperpolarize the electorate on myriad issues but they can't control the tone of how Iowa unions, Democrats and allies reach out to the entire electorate.

One thing that both the Right and Corporate Democrats don’t seem to understand, is that many of us voted for Joe Biden to protect our country from a gangster who was out to pillage it. The lesser of two evils is still evil. Debbie Wasserman Shultz betrayed us in 2016 and Representative Clyburn betrayed us in 2020

. . We are destroying our younger bench and while I appreciate the work Biden has done to clean up the mess, we are not as in love Biden as the Cult loves their character

After all this time an actual liberal journalist has found the rural working class. In IA4 no less. Workers in small town Iowa have been invisible to what passes for elite liberals here. Now, with the IADP at its lowest they suddenly through Art tell us they’re ready to fight those evil conservatives.

Too late.

Way too late.

Bill Clinton betrayed us with NAFTA. The Democratic Party responds to every legitimate question with insinuations of racism and some newly invented phobia. Ryan Melton had fully embraced the green agenda.

What will we do without ethanol?

It’s too late.
