From another veteran of the hammer machine: I'm so happy that your diagnoses seem to be favorable. Mine, directed a bit north in the body, were good, too. Which puts both of us back to work. Can't wait to read more from you! Congratulations and/or sympathy to your son.

I’m sorry you have to endure anxiety and worries!

Eat healthy stuff, drink a lot of (filtered) water, keep your great sense of humor and write a lot for all of us.

Get well, be well, stay well.

Only you can make an “organ recital” entertaining, and you are right about health care. I live in Delaware, but drive 3 hours (one-way)to DC for medical care. My husband died in 2020 after a gall bladder surgery left him with sepsis, and my simple cataract surgery put me in glasses after they inserted the wrong lens. No thanks, I’ll drive. Good to know you aren’t leaving us anytime soon.

I got a hernia playing touch football with my son in 2005.

"I guess I gotta get used to the idea I'm not Gale Sayers anymore," I said.

"Dad, you never WERE Gale Sayers," my son said.

Got it 'scoped. My big brother took great satisfaction in the fact that he owned stock in the company that made my hernia patch.

Always glad to help the bottom line, bro.

Best to all as the torch is passed to a new generation of the House of Cullen. Keep doing what you're doing Art. My dad told me my faith would be a great consolation to me as I got old. I'm finding writing is too, especially for an ancient museum artifact like me. That and my kids.

I apologize for laughing at your trials and tribulations. Amazing the lengths (depths?) some people will go to in search of a good (great!) story.

Glad to hear your scan result enables you to lower your worry level. And thanks for improving my word power...'interregna'. (Google analytics indicates its greatest usage in the 1830's, with a very slight upward tick in usage of late.)
